Learned behaviour is constantly changing in response to the environment we live in. Kids need time to learn what is socially appropriate in all these different settings such as school, after school care, clubs, sports teams etc. It is not unusual for children’s behaviour to differ across settings depending on rules, consistency, good role models and good structure and routine.
Although it may seem that behaviour occurs ‘out of the blue,’ this is not usually the case. Most incidents of extreme behaviour actually develop from lower-level frustrations or anxiety. Behaviours and attitudes of adult's impact upon behaviours and attitudes of those in their care and vice versa.
